The Hand MCP EDS splint blocks hyperextension of the hand MCP joints and helps to stabilize them and features a beautifully handcrafted metal rose embellishment for a little extra flair and reflection of your personal style. This splint can often be worn on the middle finger to help stabilize the joints throughout the hand, but depends greatly on the general laxity of the tendons running across the MCP joint. If there is severe laxity or fingers that are particularly troublesome this splint can be worn on any finger(s) it is needed for.
This splint can also help to stop a tendon from snapping side to side over the knuckle, which is a common problem with injury to the MCP joint/finger tendons and laxity of the tendon.
